snow will come, early darkness will come
winter's frozen silence will come the brushstroke of gray and blustery days the butterflies soon will chase away spring will come, fresh cut grass will come new dreams, new seeds, new growth will come sprinkler days and watercolors made new crafts built and new songs played summer will come and fireworks will come fish will be caught and games will be won adventures to new places and household guests schedules full and sabbath rest autumn will come and apple butter will come new pencils, new paper, new school shoes will come leaves will soon fall, evening fires commence candles will burn in pumpkin pie scents county fairs and corn mazes and costumes will come holiday feasts and festivities will hum christmas will again crest with her merriment and cheer and suddenly you'll find yourself right back here reflecting, reminiscing on love won and love lost counting the blessings and counting the cost some days will unwind slowly with just a nonchalant glance others crash together wildly with mad happenstance tears will come and troubles will come and then healing and courage and lessons will come when darkness presses in, know that light always follows just embrace your todays and take hope for your tomorrows they will come.
